Hyundai Motor India has kick started the new year with the launch of the updated Cretafeaturing significant enhancements in features and design. The company has exciting plans for the coming months, including the launch of the Hyundai Alcazar facelift and Creta N Line by mid-2024, according to reports. Additionally, there are speculations about the Hyundai Verna N Line being part of this year’s product strategy.

The upcoming 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is currently undergoing final testing in the country. Design changes may draw inspiration from the Creta facelift, including an all-new front grille, revised front bumper, and split-setup headlamps. The three-row SUV might showcase alterations in both front and rear sheet metal, accompanied by a redesigned tailgate with horizontally positioned wraparound and connected taillamps.

Interior updates for the new Alcazar could involve new shades for the dashboard and upholstery. Similar to the Creta facelift, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is expected to incorporate ADAS tech. Under the hood, the SUV will boast the recently introduced 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine and the 1.5L diesel engine, delivering 115bhp.

The Hyundai Creta N Line will mark the third N Line offering from the South Korean automaker in India. Distinguishing itself from the regular Creta, this model will feature styling tweaks such as a distinctive front grille, bumper, and front chin with N Line-specific red accents, faux-brushed aluminum, and gloss black elements. The SUV is likely to come with an all-black interior and an N Line-specific steering wheel with red stitching, along with a unique gear lever.

Powering the Hyundai Creta N Line will be the new 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The suspension setup, exhaust system, and steering dynamics of the Hyundai Creta N Line are expected to be finely tuned to deliver a sportier performance, aligning with the characteristics observed in Hyundai’s other N Line models.
