Six Nations 2024: England call up uncapped Max Ojomoh as injured trio withdraw

Bath centre Max Ojomoh is the son of former back row Steve, who won 12 caps for England

England have called up uncapped Bath centre Max Ojomoh as injury cover in their squad for the Six Nations.

Ojomoh, 23, is the son of former Bath, Gloucester and England back row Steve Ojomoh.

The centre has been drafted in to Steve Borthwick’s squad alongside Bath wing Will Muir and Newcastle Falcons hooker Jamie Blamire.

The trio replace centres Oscar Beard and Ollie Lawrence and hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie, who are all injured.

Uncapped Beard, 22, will travel to Girona with the rest of the England squad where he will continue his return-to-play protocol.

Cowan-Dickie had won a recall to the squad after missing last year’s World Cup with a shoulder injury.
