In a shocking trend, another Indian American joins the growing list of missing individuals in the United States.
Police are looking for a 17-year-old girl who left her house on Monday night and hasn’t been seen since. Her name is Ishika Thakore.
Ishika was last seen in Frisco, Texas, on Monday, April 8th, at 11:30 PM. She left her home on Brownwood Drive wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and red/green pajama pants. She’s about 5 feet 4 inches tall.
There have been several cases of Indian Americans going missing in the US recently.
Mohammed Abdul Arfath, a 25-year-old student from India, was found dead in Cleveland after being reported missing.
Neel Acharya, a student at Purdue University, was also found dead after being reported missing.
And last year, a 25-year-old Indian-American woman disappeared in Texas and was found dead in Oklahoma.
Let’s hope and pray that nothing unfortunate has happened to Ishika Thakore and she is found safe and returns to her family soon.
