FC Goa shocked Mumbai City in the first leg of the second semi-final of Indian Super Legal today. In the match held at Fatorda Stadium in Goa, Mumbai City won 3-2 on the strength of three goals scored in the second half.
Goa took the lead in the 16th minute with Boris Singh’s goal. Goa’s first goal came from Mohammad Yasir’s assist.
A long ranger from Brandon Fernandes extended Goa’s lead to two in the 56th minute of the second half. The twist in the game came when I thought these two goals had sealed Goa’s victory. Mumbai City’s first goal came through Changte in the 90th minute. Vikram Pratap scored the equalizer in the 91st minute. 2-2 from 2-0 with the eyes closed.
It didn’t end there either. Changte scored again before the final whistle. Mumbai lead 3-2. They returned to Mumbai victorious. Now the second leg semi-final will be held in Mumbai. The match will be held on April 29.
