Samsung is expected to launch two new foldable smartphones, two new wireless earbuds, and at least two new smartwatches next month. It is almost certain that the company will launch its first Ultra smartwatch, but will it be joined by the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro?
Galaxy Watch 7 Pro mentioned in Samsung India’s promotional message
We have received a promotional message from a Samsung Experience Store in India that reveals that consumers in India can now pre-reserve the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch 7 Pro. While the message mentions the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro, we think it might be a mistake, and they actually mean the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
From what we have gathered until now, it appears that Samsung is planning to launch two smartwatches, and there might not be room for the Galaxy Watch 7 Classic or the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro. The Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra might be the only two new watches that Samsung will unveil at its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, 2024.
The message also reveals that users pre-reserving a Galaxy Z Flip 6 will get 3,999 points, while those pre-reserving the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will get 7,099 points. Those who pre-reserve the Galaxy Watch 7 will reportedly get an additional watch strap worth INR 5,000 ($60) for free. Pre-reserving the Galaxy Watch Ultra in India will fetch buyers a complimentary strap worth INR 6,500 ($78).
The story continues after the video below.
The Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra will reportedly feature circular AMOLED screens with higher brightness, an IP68 rating, a 3nm Exynos W1000 processor, and 32GB of internal storage. They will also feature 10W wireless charging and Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch software with Galaxy AI features.
