Among them is Keerthy Suresh’s Raghu Thatha, which aimed to capitalize on the festive season. However, the film’s hype seems nonexistent.

Meanwhile, in Tamil cinema, Thangalaan and Demonte Colony 2 are generating all the buzz, leaving little room for Keerthy Suresh’s Tamil film Raghu Thatha.
Keerthy Suresh chose this film for its noble message and intriguing storyline. But with so much content featuring bigger names available this weekend, audience excitement for Raghu Thatha is totally lacking.

Releasing on a later date without competition might have given the film a better chance. As it stands, the film seems more suited for an OTT release, with the theatrical audience likely to pass on it.
Only exceptional word of mouth can save this film at the box office, which would require nothing short of a miracle.
