A school shooting which claimed the lives of 3 people has shocked Bosnia & Herzegovina, a country where mass shootings are very rare. All the 3 who died in this shooting were staff members of the school and the suspect is also one of the employees who had a dispute with the school management.
The shooting took place in the Sanski Most town of Bosnia on Wednesday morning. The Principal and secretary of the school along with a teacher died in this attack. The attacker used a military grade automatic rifle for the shooting.

After killing the three, he also tried to kill himself with the gun and got injured. He is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Thankfully, schools in Bosnia have their summer break on and no students were at the school during the shooting.
The staff was there to discuss the next academic year where the attacker had a dispute with the school management. There has been no official word on the motive of the suspect behind the attack.

Bosnia has more than 750,000 illegal weapons in circulation. For a country with a population of 3,500,000, the numbers are quite high yet incidents of mass shootings are very rare in this country.
