The movie ‘Maruti Nagar Subramaniam’ starred the famous actor Rao Ramesh in the main lead. This movie was directed by Laxman Karya. This movie was released today. And let’s go to the review and find out how much this film pleased the audience.

Story:

Subrahmanyam (Rao Ramesh) who lives in Maruti Nagar dreams of a government job since childhood. In this process, even if Subrahmanyam gets a government job, it gets stuck in a court case and gets lost. Even though he has been married for 25 years, Subrahmanyam still does not do anything because something is happening in his life and he is getting a government job. He survives on the earnings of his wife Kalarani (Indraja). On the other hand, Subrahmanyam’s son Arjun (Ankit) falls in love with Kanchana (Ramya), and in the meantime, 10 lakhs are deposited in Subrahmanyam’s account. So, what is the story of that 10 lakh?, how did it get into Subrahmanyam’s account?, what did Subrahmanyam do with that money? That is the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

The comedy touch is good in this movie. The way Subrahmanyam’s character is established from the opening is good. Especially the scenes between Subrahmanyam and his son’s character and the comedy scenes are a plus for the movie. The government job case that has been stalled in the court for years, money accidentally falling into the account.. The comedy scenes written by the director linking these two.. Overall, in this movie ‘Maruthi Nagar Subramaniam’, along with fun, emotion has also worked out well in some places.

The performance of the actors is also good. Rao Ramesh who played the lead role was convincing in his role. He has mastered the role of ‘Subramaniam’ very well with his timing even in serious situations. Especially Rao Ramesh’s dialogues and his gestures made me laugh. Indraja impressed in the role of the wife who walked in an emotional tone. Ankit Koya’s performance is very good. Ramya’s yellow beauty is a plus for the movie. Harshavardhan, Annapoornamma, Praveen, Nukaraju and rest of the cast who played other key roles also did justice to their roles.

Minus Points:

Although the plot taken by Laxman Karya, and Rao Ramesh – Ankit Koya’s roles are good.. the story is simple and very slow at some places. Especially in the second half, at some places the screenplay goes silly with treatment that does not generate interest. Moreover the key scenes are not logically connected. Especially the role of the heroine as well as the roles of her parents should be written more strongly.

Also, what if the money due to someone falls into someone else’s account..? The drama in this direction also lags. In fact, if Subrahmanya, who has been living only on his wife’s income for many years, suddenly gets lakhs… how will his mentality be?, how will his behavior change? It would have been better if such things had been shown more effectively. Overall, although the director elevated the content of the script well on the screen, he could not make some routine and boring scenes in the movie entertaining.

Technical Department:

If we talk about technicians.. Laxman Karya is impressive as a director, but he is not fully impressed in terms of screenplay. Music director Kalyan Naik’s songs are okay. Similarly, the background score is also not bad in some key scenes. If the editor Bonthala Nageswara Reddy had trimmed the unnecessary scenes tightly, it would have been a plus for the movie. Cinematography is good. Producers Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya’s production values are good.

Verdict:

In this family fun drama called ‘Maruti Nagar Subramaniam’, the main theme, comedy scenes and the characters of ‘Rao Ramesh – Ankit Koya’ are impressive. However, things like the main treatment not being interesting and the second half being slow with boring play hurt the result of the movie. But, along with the entertainment in some places, the performance of the actors is also good. Overall, only some comedy elements in this movie connect with the audience.
