Hyderabad: Renowned Telugu filmmaker Harish Shankar has publicly praised the Telangana government, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, for its proactive flood relief initiatives and long-term vision for Hyderabad. In a recent post on his X account, Shankar commended the government’s approach, highlighting the importance of respecting nature and strengthening the city’s foundational systems rather than resorting to superficial fixes.
He specifically mentioned the government’s efforts through the HYDRAA initiative, which focuses on clearing illegally occupied lakes and water bodies, restoring nallas, and reviving the Musi River. Shankar expressed confidence in the chief minister’s vision for Hyderabad as a Future City, emphasizing that Reddy is thinking beyond immediate electoral gains and is instead focused on the welfare of future generations.
Shankar called upon the people of Hyderabad and Telangana to support Revanth Reddy, describing him as a true visionary and a man on a mission to make Hyderabad a globally respected metropolis.
