Hyundai Creta EV Interior – New Details Out

The Hyundai Creta EV will be the first major product launch from the South Korean automaker in 2025. It will also be the brand’s first “high-volume” electric car, aimed at competing with the Tata Curvv EV and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX. We have seen the electric Creta with heavy to semi-camouflage since its early testing phase, and as a result, we have gathered several intriguing details.

Recently, an image of its interior emerged online, showcasing a new circular 3-spoke steering wheel instead of the flat-bottom unit. What grabbed our attention was the ‘CRETA Electric’ embossing on the seat upholstery. However, the dual-screen setup (a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system), the central console with button panel, and the dashboard design appear similar to the ICE-powered Creta.

Features such as dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, a wireless phone charger, USB charging ports, keyless entry, Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car tech, cruise control, an electric parking brake with auto-hold, day and night IRVM, hill-start assist control, electronic stability control, and 6 airbags will be carried forward from the ICE version.

The design of the Creta EV will be slightly different from its ICE counterpart, thanks to some EV-specific elements. It will feature a closed-off front grille, slightly altered bumpers, and a new set of alloy wheels at both axles. However, the dimensions will be exactly the same as the ICE Creta.

Speculations suggest that the Hyundai Creta EV will come with a 45kWh battery pack and an electric motor delivering 138bhp and 255Nm of torque. Its range is expected to be around 350km or more. Tata’s Curvv EV is available with 45kWh and 55kWh battery packs, offering a claimed range of 502km and 585km on a full charge.
