The new Kia Carnival has finally arrived in the Indian market. The luxury MPV is available in a single, fully-loaded GT Line trim with a 7-seat layout and a 2.2L diesel engine. As a CBU (completely built-up) unit, the new model is priced significantly higher at Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom) compared to its previous version. Additionally, the South Korean automaker has also launched its flagship offering – the EV9 electric SUVpriced at Rs 1.3 crore.
In India, the new Carnival is offered in two color options – Fusion Black and Glacier White Pearl – and two dual-tone interior themes: Tuscan & Umber and Navy & Misty Gray. Compared to its predecessor, the new model boasts sharper design elements, including the signature Tiger Nose grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps, L-shaped LED DRLs, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and taillamps connected by an LED light strip with an L-motif at the rear. The MPV features a powered tailgate and powered sliding rear doors.

The 7-seater MPV has a 2+2+3 seating configuration with captain seats in the middle row, which offer ventilation and heating functions along with adjustable leg support. The new Kia Carnival’s interior is well-equipped with features such as dual 12.3-inch curved displays, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, three-zone climate control, wireless charging pads, a 4-spoke steering wheel, a 12-way powered driver’s seat, an 11-inch head-up display, and dual electric sunroofs.
The new Carnival comes with a Level 2 ADAS suite, providing safety features such as adaptive cruise control, front collision warning and avoidance assist, lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, high beam assist, and more. The MPV’s safety kit also includes 8 airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, rear disc brakes, front, rear, and side parking sensors, hill assist control, and a 360-degree camera.
Powering the new Kia Carnival is the same 2.2L diesel engine paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The engine produces a peak power of 193 bhp and 441 Nm of torque. The MPV features a front-wheel-drive (FWD) system.
