The filming of “VD12,” Vijay Deverakonda’s twelfth movie, garnered attention in Kerala because of an incident near Kothamangalam in the state.
While filming sequences with actors and elephants at Boothathankettu in the forest, two elephants brought to the set engaged in a confrontation.
One of the elephants wounded during the confrontation rushed wildly and wandered into the jungle. The forest Department authorities were unable to locate the injured elephant until Friday night.
The film’s shooting was temporarily halted.
“VD12” is a period drama featuring Vijay Deverakonda in a distinct role. Gowtam Tinnanuri, renowned for “Jersey,” is directing the project, while Naga Vamsi is producing it under the Sithara Entertainments umbrella. The film is scheduled for release next year.
