Telangana minister Konda Surekha made derogatory comments on Akkineni Nagarjuna and his family members and it created a huge outrage all over. After the issue turned serious, Konda Surekha took the words back. But Nagarjuna and his family decided to take legal action for her unprofessional comments. A defamation case was filed by the Akkineni family against Konda Surekha and the Nampally court asked them to record their statement. Nagarjuna, Amala and Naga Chaitanya were present in the Nampally court this afternoon to record their statement about the issue.
Nagarjuna and his family have taken the issue quite seriously and Konda Surekha seems to be in big trouble for sure. Taking the political pressure, a case has been registered against Nagarjuna recently regarding the encroachment of N Convention. There were never such cases filed in the past though there were allegations about the encroachment done for N Convention. Nagarjuna seems to have been prepared about the consequences and he is not ready to compromise to any pressure in the Konda Surekha issue.
