Kushi registers career-best openings for Vijay Deverakonda

Following the disastrous Liger, Vijay Deverakonda has bounced back to success with the loudest roar. His just released romantic family entertainer, Kushi, has registered the highest-ever opening in the young hero’s career. Also starring Samantha, the Shiva Nirvana directorial has been lapped up by fans and family audiences.
As per the latest updates from the movie’s PR team, Kushi collected a whopping Rs 30.10 crore on its opening day. In the USA, the film has so far grossed $800K, including the premieres and day 1 collection. Thanks to the unanimous positive response, the shows and box office numbers are increasing with each passing show. Kushi is expected to cash in on this euphoria and have a long run in theaters.
As per the trade reports, Kushi received a terrific opening in the Nizam, Uttarandhra and other areas. The film collected a solid Rs 5.15 crore share in Nizam, while another Rs 1.13 crore share was collected in the Uttarandhra region. Overall, Kushi collected a cool Rs 10 crore share on its opening day in the twin Telugu states. This Mythri Movie Makers’ production features a soulful soundtrack composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
