Following the grand launch of the Bigg Boss reality show’s seventh season, viewers eagerly anticipated an engaging nominations episode, but the showrunners left them disappointed.
With 14 contestants vying for the title and prize money, expecting the drama to kick off right from day one was only natural. However, the episode fell short as the showrunners chose not to showcase the nominations segment fully. Only two contestants had the opportunity to express their opinions on the nominations.
Apart from this disappointment, the choice of contestants itself left much to be desired. From the very first day, many seemed to be formulating their own strategies. Having watched previous seasons before entering the house, they came equipped with pre-conceived strategies to tackle tasks and avoid conflicts. However, this approach is likely to hinder their overall experience.
It was expected that contestants like Sivaji, Shakeela, Damini, and Sobha Shetty would receive maximum screen time. Surprisingly, reasonable screen time was allocated to contestants such as Pallavi Prashanth, Rathika Rose, and Gautham Krishna.
By the end of the first episode, Rathika and Prashanth seemed to have won over some followers with their approach. Yet, contestants like Kiran Rathore, Subhashree, and Prince have to make a significant impact.
On the whole, the debut nominations episode of the seventh season failed to capture the interest of the audience, who were eagerly awaiting some captivating drama.
