India vs Nepal Asia Cup 2023 Highlights: Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first against Nepal in Pallekele. Both teams have made one change in their playing XI from their last respective matches against Pakistan. Former India fast bowler Javagal Srinath is officiating in his 250th ODI as match referee.

For India Jasprit Bumrah, who has gone home for the birth of his child, is replaced by Mohammed Shami. Meanwhile, in Nepal’s playing XI Bhim Sharki has replaced Aarif Sheikh. However, rain has played spoilsport so far and the game has witnessed a few stops and starts.

With Colombo, the venue for the Super 4 stages, also witnessing heavy rain over the last 72 hours, discussions are underway in the Asian Cricket Council to look at other cities as Plan B. While Dambulla, which is situated in the dry zone, was seen as a safer option, it is understood that floodlight works are underway and hence it has been ruled out of hosting the Super 4. (READ MORE)
