The first match of the Super-4 stage of Asia Cup-2023 is being played between Pakistan and Bangladesh at Lahore Gaddafi Stadium. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first.

The team has scored 72 runs for four wickets in 15 overs. Captain Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim are at the crease.

Tauheed Hridoy got out after scoring 2 runs. He was bowled by Haris Rauf. Earlier, Mohammad Naim was out on 20, Liton Das on 16 and Mehdi Hasan Miraj was out on 0.

Naseem Shah went out injured
Shaheen Shah bowled the second ball of the 7th over at a speed of 140 km per hour. The ball hit the pad of batsman Naeem and went towards fine leggy. Naseem Shah’s eyes fell on the ball and he ran very fast to his left and dived to stop the ball. He got injured due to the dive. Mohammad Harish came in his place to field. Naseem’s foot touched the rope. Due to which Bangladesh got 4 runs in the form of leg bye.
