Tata Motors has taken the wraps off the 2023 Nexon EV facelift ahead of its September 14 launch. Pre-launch bookings for the updated electric SUV are set to open on September 9. This is the first major overhaul of Tata’s extremely popular electric SUV, which has been on sale since January 2020. Like before, the Nexon EV comes in two broad variants – Medium and Long Range – with multiple trims offered under them. They are as follows: Empowered, Creative and Fearless.
2023 Tata Nexon EV Styling
The 2023 Tata Nexon EV gets all the new styling elements that debuted in the ICE model. Those include the Curvv-inspired fascia, new alloys and connected LED tail lamps. But the EV version gets minor differences to stand out from the ICE model, such as the lack of a grille, giving a cleaner minimalist look. It also gets a LED light bar connecting the DRLs that also acts as a light guide to show the charge levels. Really cool!
The slatted inserts lower down in the bumper are also different when compared to the ICE model.
2023 Tata Nexon EV Interior
The overhauled electric vehicle gets the same dashboard design layout as the 2023 ICE Nexon. So it gets the new minimalist dash design with more vertical and straight lines finished in varying colour schemes depending on the variant you choose. The fully digital driver’s display, two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo and touch-based climate control have all been carried forward. However, the electric model gets a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system as opposed to the 10.25-inch unit as seen in the ICE model.
2023 Tata Nexon EV Features
In terms of features, the Nexon EV gets all the aforementioned ones, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new 9-speaker JBL sound system with subwoofer, 360-degree camera, and mainly, six airbags.
