Chennai: Tamil movie-serial actor Marimuthu passed away. He was 58 years old. Marimuthu collapsed during serial dubbing and was admitted to the hospital but could not be saved. Cause of death is heart attack. Rajinikanth’s Jailer is the last released movie.
Marimuthu, who entered the acting scene in 1999 with the film Wally, became a favorite of family audiences through serials. His role as Guna Sekharan in the Tamil hit serial Opi Neechal has become very popular among the TV audience. Marimuthu has also worked as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam, Vasanth, Seeman and SJ Surya.
