Hyundai Motor India has rolled out the i20 facelift with subtle design changes and feature upgrades. What comes as a surprise is the absence of a turbo petrol engine option. The new 2023 Hyundai i20 is now available with a single 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol motor that produces 82bhp and 115Nm. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and an iVT unit. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine is likely to be reserved for the updated i20 N Line, which is expected in the pipeline. Read: Hyundai To Update its 3 Top-Selling Cars

As mentioned earlier, minimal changes have been made inside and out. The new 2023 Hyundai i20 features a slightly more pronounced front grille with signature badging on top and all-new LED headlamps with LED DRLs. However, it does not include the fog lamp assembly.
No changes have been made to its side profile, except for the newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. The hatchback has also reduced some chrome elements from the rear end.
The interior boasts a dual-tone black and grey color scheme with leatherette seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It comes equipped with a Bose 7-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, and nature-inspired soundscapes.
Hyundai claims that the new i20 offers 26 safety features, including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, three-point seatbelts with seatbelt reminders, hill assist control, rear parking camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, automatic headlamps, and more.
