Asia Cup 2023, IND vs PAK Match Today Weather Report: In what will be a pleasing development for fans across India and Pakistandespite forecasts of heavy rains and thunderstorms, Colombo woke up to a bright and sunny Sunday morning. The two teams are set to face off later in the afternoon at the R Premadasa Stadium.

Although the MET department had predicted heavy rains over the weekend, Colombo hasn’t witnessed any rain since Friday evening. On Saturday, despite forecasts of showers late in the evening, Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh went the full distance without any rain.

And for Sunday evening, there is a high probability of rain with AccuWeather predicting 80 per cent rain from 5 pm mostly because the humidity is expected to be around 78 percentage. On Saturday too, the forecast was similar, but the rain stayed away with no dark clouds in the vicinity of the Premadasa Stadium.

India and Pakistan’s group match last weekend at Pallekele was washed out, prompting the organisers to include a reserve day for this contest alone in Colombo. While they will do everything to get the game finished on Sunday, in case it spills over to the reserve day it will continue from where it ended.

The decision to slot a reserve day only for India vs Pakistan hasn’t gone down well with the coaches of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, who expressed surpriseness at the decision. The Asian Cricket Council, though revealed that the decision was taken after consulting their respective cricket boards.
