Tata Motors has unveiled the 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift, which brings significant updates to both its exterior and interior. This refreshed electric vehicle boasts a longer driving range, making it an appealing option for eco-conscious Indian consumers. Let’s dive into the details.

The official prices for the 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift will be announced on September 14, 2023, coinciding with the launch of the facelifted ICE (internal combustion engine) Nexon. However, pre-bookings for the Nexon EV facelift have already begun, both at authorized dealerships and online. To secure a booking, interested buyers can make an initial payment of Rs. 21,000 in India.

The 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift will be available in three trim levels: Creative, Fearless, and Empowered. It will also offer two variants: Medium Range and Long Range. These choices cater to a range of preferences and driving needs.

One of the standout features of this updated model is its increased driving range, which now stands at an impressive 465 kilometers on a single charge. This enhanced range is a significant improvement and is sure to make the Nexon EV even more attractive to potential buyers.

The exterior of the 2023 Tata Nexon EV has been thoroughly redesigned, drawing inspiration from the Curvv concept. It exudes a futuristic vibe compared to its internal combustion engine counterpart. Notable exterior elements include a split cluster design, LED Daytime Running Lights that span the entire width, newly designed alloy wheels, connected LED tail lamps, a distinctive shut-off front grille, and brand-new front and rear bumpers.

Inside the cabin, the Nexon EV facelift has received updates to the dashboard and center console. Notably, it features a larger 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a step up from the 10.23-inch screen in the ICE Nexon. The infotainment system includes capacitive controls for climate operations, while a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster provides vital information to the driver. The steering wheel has also been revamped with a new two-spoke design and an illuminated logo.

In terms of equipment, the 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift comes loaded with features, including an electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera system, a nine-speaker audio system, six airbags for safety, electronic stability control, EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) with auto hold function, ventilated front seats, cruise control, and even an air purifier.
This refreshed Nexon EV will face direct competition from the Mahindra XUV400 and MG ZS EV in the Indian electric vehicle market.

Additionally, the 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift introduces several other noteworthy features, such as a new cabin theme, in-car connected technology, V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) and V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) charging capabilities, adjustable headrests, new air conditioning vents, and more.

Under the hood, the Nexon EV facelift packs a 129 PS electric motor and a 30 kWh battery pack, delivering a driving range of 325 kilometers. There’s also a larger electric motor capable of 145 PS and 215 Nm of torque, paired with a 40.5 kWh battery pack, offering an impressive range of 465 kilometers on a single charge.
