The second week of nominations occurred in the Bigg Boss house, with Aata Sandeep Raj exempted from the procedure. Nevertheless, he exercised his special power to nominate Prince Yawar for eviction.
During the nomination process, some arguments unfolded, particularly when nominating Sivaji and Tasty Teja. However, Pallavi Prashanth’s actions took everyone by surprise.
Pallavi Prashanth, a regular YouTuber who gained fame for his videos on farming, portrayed himself as a ‘Raithu Bidda’ (farmer’s son) from the moment he entered the house.
While all the contestants warmly welcomed Prashanth and displayed no reservations towards him, he mostly kept to himself, often engaging with the cameras or openly flirting with Rathika, which became a daily topic of discussion among the contestants.
Despite being aware that other contestants were gossiping about his behavior, Prashanth continued to flirt with Rathika, who appeared to encourage his advances. In conversations with others, however, she seemed uncertain whether he was genuinely interested in her or merely doing it to create content.
However, a turning point arrived in the episode.
Prashanth attempted to garner sympathy in the house by repeatedly emphasizing his background as coming from a poor family with farming roots. He portrayed others as uncooperative due to their supposed lack of understanding or compassion for his background.
Many housemates caught onto his sympathy-seeking strategy and began nominating him for eviction. Initially, Gautham Krishna, Amardeep, Tasty Teja, Shakeela, Damini Bhatla, and Priyanka Jain nominated Prashanth.
As Prashanth’s conversations continued, contestants like Sobha Shetty, Subhashree, and even Rathika joined in nominating him. They all argued that Prashanth was playing a sympathy card by frequently mentioning his background and was either talking to the cameras or indulging in flirtatious behavior with a housemate.
Prashanth refused to acknowledge their perspectives and even claimed he would donate any prize money to a poor farmer’s family and forgo his remuneration if he won Bigg Boss. These statements came across as calculated and unrealistic, and he was eventually exposed for lying in the house. He confessed to setting up a team outside the house to ensure victory.
One statement that particularly backfired was when Prashanth implied that Amardeep’s acting in a serial couldn’t surpass his own, triggering a response from other artists who were quick to defend Amardeep.
During these heated arguments, Prashanth’s body language further provoked his housemates. It appeared that he was being cornered, although it’s pretty clear this was not planned and unintentional. Everything happened in the spur of the moment.
In such a critical moment, Rathika, who had been Prashanth’s main source of content, confronted him.
Firstly, she asked him who he was if he was not a ‘Raithu Biddu,’ for which he could not answer.
Secondly, when Prashanth said that he ran around Annapurna Studios office like a dog seeking an opportunity to be a part of the house, Rathika intervened and asked, “If you grabbed this opportunity after running around like a dog, what are you doing now after coming to the house?” to which Prashanth could not answer again.
While this conversation was happening, all the other housemates were shocked to see Rathika speaking against Prashanth. It’s a heartbreak in a cinematic sense.
The nominations segment is still ongoing and will continue in the upcoming episode.
