The vanilla iPhone 15 and its bigger brother, the iPhone 15 Plus, may not receive an upgrade in the charging and transfer speeds, but according to the rumor mill, they will receive an upgrade in the camera department.
Back in January, it was rumored that the non-Pro iPhones would get a newer 48MP main camera sensor, which is similar to the one on the iPhone 14 Pro models.
This would be a substantial upgrade if the rumor pans out. The iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus sport only a 12MP main camera. So, you can probably imagine what amazing photos the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus will take with a bigger 48MP gun.
However, the sensor probably won’t be the Sony IMX 803 used in the Pro models. Instead, the rumors claim that the phones will pack another Sony sensor, which will also have great capabilities.
