International Trade Show 2023: Over 2000 exhibitors to showcase their products | Delhi News


More than two thousand exhibitors from Uttar Pradesh will showcase their products in the International Trade Show 2023, which is scheduled to be held at India Expo Mart and Center, Greater Noida from September 21 to 25. The crafts of 12 cities of UP will also be displayed in a section called ‘Hall of Town of Export Excellence’ in the trade show complex.

Officials said that the exhibitors will be from multiple sectors including agriculture and horticulture, defense corridor, e-commerce, banking and financial services, education, infra, engineering and manufacturing, film sector, food processing and dairy products, GI tag products, handloom etc. People associated with other sectors such as handicrafts, textiles, tourism and hospitality, the toy industry, warehouses, logistics, and women’s enterprises will also be present in the trade show with their products.

The UP government is focusing on providing an international platform to One District One Product (ODOP) through this trade show. Officials said that for ODOP, not only an exhibition will be organised, but a proper channel between business and customer (B2C) will also be developed, so that buyers can directly connect with the artisans and place orders for the products.

Special preparations are also being made for the flavours of Uttar Pradesh in the International Trade Show. Buyers will get the taste of diverse dishes prepared in the different parts of the state. A millets canteen will also be there, in which all the dishes made from coarse grains will be served.

Fashion show to shehnai night at the event

Preparations are also being made to give a colourful look to the event through various traditional and modern programs. Officials said that special attractions include art and painting show, UP Fashion Show, cultural performance, artisans performance, sound and light show, laser and drone show, band performance and shehnai night.

There will also be an ‘experience zone,’ where perfume from Kannauj, brass from Meerut and demo of paint brush manufacturing from Bijnor will be displayed. There will also be a hall dedicated to the health and wellness sector of UP, where various traditional medicines will be showcased to the buyers.
