Kuldeep is the fourth fastest spinner overall to reach 150 wickets in ODIs after Saqlain Mushtaq (78 matches), Rashid Khan (80) and Ajantha Mendis (84).
He is also the second fastest Indian bowler overall to have taken 150 wickets after pacer Mohammed Shami who achieved the milestone in 80 matches.
Kuldeep overcame a threatening knee injury to return to the international game last year and since then performed well in the Indian Premier League and for the national team.
The bowler has made his way back as a regular in the Indian XI and remains a key bowler for the team in the World Cup starting October.
He has taken 31 wickets from 15 matches this year, the highest by an Indian bowler in ODIs.
