Apple has launched the iPhone 15 series at its ‘Wanderlust’ event on September 12. Now it is reported that Apple has discontinued some older iPhone models in India to make way for the latest iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The models that have been discontinued include the iPhone 12, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. iPhone 14 Pro Max was last year’s high-end model with a starting price of Rs 1,39,900. Now, the handset is not listed on Apple’s India website.

> The discontinuation of the iPhone 14 Pro Max will pave the way for the new iPhone 15 Pro Max. Similarly, iPhone 14 Pro has also been discontinued from the Indian market. The handset was introduced at the ‘Far Out’ event last year with a starting price of Rs 1,29,900. Meanwhile, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are being sold at lower prices in India.
> Apple has also removed the iPhone 13 mini to make more room for the new iPhone 15 models. The iPhone 13 Mini was the cheapest model in the company’s 2021 iPhone series, with a starting price of Rs 69,900. This was a good one for those looking for a smaller flagship iPhone.
> Apple also quietly removed the iPhone 12 from its lineup. iPhone 12 is the oldest model which was launched in 2020 with a starting price of Rs 59,900.
> Users will not be able to buy Apple’s iPhone 12, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, one can still buy these handsets from third party sellers i.e. e-commerce sites like Amazon and Flipkart. Until their stock runs out.
