Apple TV+ has released a retro new trailer for its upcoming series Lessons in Chemistry, starring and executive produced by Brie Larson.
The show is based on the bestselling novel by Bonnie Garmus, and follows Elizabeth Zott, a brilliant scientist who dreams of making a difference in the world.
The trailer showcases Larson’s performance as the witty and charming Elizabeth, as well as the colorful and nostalgic production design of the show. The series also features a talented ensemble cast, including Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Kevin Sussman, Patrick Walker, Thomas Mann and Beau Bridges.
The show is created by Lee Eisenberg, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer. Susannah Grant, Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan and Sarah Adina Smith are also among the executive producers.
Lessons in Chemistry will premiere on Apple TV+ on October 13 with two episodes, followed by weekly releases until November 24. The series promises to be a fun and empowering journey through the history of science and feminism, with a dash of humor and romance. Fans of Brie Larson and period dramas can look forward to this new addition to Apple TV+’s slate of original content.
