Officials of AIIMS Sangharsh Committee Rewari held a press conference today in Narnaul, Haryana. In which he held old and Sangh-affiliated BJP leaders and the present state government responsible for the delay in the construction of the proposed AIIMS at Majra Manaiti in Rewari district. The committee directly targeted the Chief Minister without taking his name.
Said that old BJP leaders who are associated with the Sangh are creating hurdles in the proposed AIIMS in Manaiti Majra. Whereas, the new pilot leaders who have joined BJP want to get it constructed.
PM was invited for AIIMS foundation stone laying ceremony
AIIMS Sangharsh Committee chief Sheotaj Singh, working president Kailash Chand and secretary Om Prakash said that Gurugram MP Rao Inderjit Singh had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi a few days ago and invited him to lay the foundation stone of AIIMS. For which he had also kept the date of 23rd September, but till now he has not received any information about any official programme.
Due to which it seems that now there may be further delay in the foundation stone laying of AIIMS. He said that the new leaders coming to Bharatiya Janata Party want to build AIIMS in Rewari, but the old BJP leaders who are associated with the Sangh. They are stopping its foundation stone laying ceremony for their political gains and credit.
The issue is that AIIMS is getting step-motherly treatment.
He said that such BJP leaders think that the foundation stone of AIIMS should be laid at the time of elections, so that BJP can benefit from it in the elections. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should start this big institution related to the public soon without looking at profit or loss, so that along with Rewari, people of Rajasthan in Mahendragarh can also get benefit from it.
If the Prime Minister cannot come, he can lay its foundation stone virtually. He said that the Central Government had announced to create 22 AIIMS in the country. In which a total of 10 AIIMS including Majra AIIMS are under construction. OPD and MBBS studies have started in many of these AIIMS, but the main reason is that AIIMS is being given step-motherly treatment.
Warning to start movement on October 2
He said that the government wants to suppress their rights, but they too are not going to back down. They will call a meeting on October 2 on the completion of five years of the struggle. After this we will start a vigorous movement. The protest will be started on 2nd October in Manaiti Tehsil premises. Many people from AIIMS Sangharsh Committee were present on this occasion.
