Vishwakarma Jayanti: Today i.e. 17 September 2023, Sunday is Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti. According to the Hindu calendar, Vishwakarma Prakatya Divas is celebrated every year on the day of Kanya Sankranti. On this day, special worship of Lord Vishwakarma is done. Every year, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, small and big establishments, factories and especially tools, machines and shops related to construction work are worshipped. First of all, on the day of Vishwakarma Jayanti, wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes and take a resolution to worship. After this, clean the factories, establishments, tools and machines etc. and install the idol of Vishwakarma ji there. Then worship Lord Vishwakarmi with puja materials like Roli, Akshat, fruits, flowers and sweets and perform his Aarti. Chant the mantra “Om Vishwakarmane Namah” during the puja.
