SSC CGL Result 2023: SSC declared CGL Tier-1 result, 71,112 candidates successful in the exam.


State Bureau, Prayagraj: The result of Tier-1 online examination of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) – 2023 conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was declared on Tuesday. 71,112 candidates from across the country have been successful in this examination.

These candidates will appear in the Tier-2 examination to be held from 25 to 27 October. Among those who are successful, 8,440 candidates will be finally selected against the vacant posts on the basis of merit.

The exam was held in July

Tier-1 examination of CGL- 2023 was held from 14 to 27 July. In this, 3,38,299 candidates appeared against 6,61,182 candidates of UP and Bihar. 55 centers were set up for the examination in 15 cities of both the states.

SSC has released the result after about one and a half month of online examination. In this, the minimum qualifying marks were fixed at 30 percent for unreserved category, 25 percent for OBC and EWS and 20 percent for others. This recruitment is for many categories of employees.

In this, 4,377 candidates have been successful for Assistant Audit and Account Officer, 3,123 for Junior Statistics Officer and 3,140 for Statistics Investigator. Whereas for other posts, 60,472 candidates have been successful.

Apart from this, the results of 113 candidates have been withheld as per court orders. Its Tier-2 examination can be conducted from 25 to 27 October. After that the final result will be released. The appointing departments will check the certificates of the candidates selected in this examination.
