Asian Games 2023 Live Updates (September 21): India’s men’s football team are taking on Bangladesh in their second Group A game after a 5-1 hammering dealt by hosts China on Tuesday.

The match is expected to be a close and exciting affair, with both teams having their own strengths and weaknesses. India has the better players on paper, but Bangladesh will be determined to put up a good fight.

Earlier, the Indian women’s cricket team, after being asked to bat first, finished the first innings with a commanding score of 173/2 in a rain curtailed 15-over innings. Shafali Verma top scored with 67 off 39 balls while Jemimah Rodrigues (47* off 29 balls) and Richa Ghosh (21* off 7 balls) played brilliant cameos. However, the match was called off due to poor weather after just two balls were bowled in the second innings.
