TelanganaCongress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress will win the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Mizoram and will surprise the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking at the ‘The Conclave 2023’ program organized by Assam’s Nathik Media Network in New Delhi, he said, “What we have done in Karnataka, we faced elections in such a way that the BJP could not define the narrative. The MP you see today is Bidhuri, and then Nishikant Dubey who suddenly appears. All these people of BJP are trying to distract the idea of caste census. They know that the idea of caste census is the basic thing that people want. They are trying to create communal feelings among the people to divert this attention,” he said.

“BJP wins elections by distracting us without allowing us to expand our agenda. We learned how to deal with it. Now, whatever BJP tries to do, we will control their machinations. Congress has learned an important lesson by winning the Karnataka assembly elections. “Our victory will spread to the next five states,” said Rahul Gandhi.
“Adani has control of major industries in our country. They also control a significant portion of the media. BJP is reaping huge benefits from this. Please ask the same businessman what happens to him when he supports the opposition party. Despite these challenges, we are performing well. We are united. I have never seen opposition parties working like this,” Rahul said.
“The major problems in India are concentration of wealth, huge disparity in wealth, massive unemployment, massive injustice to Dalits, OBC and tribal communities and price hikes. We are fighting to protect the idea of India. That is why we have kept our name as India,” he said.
