A video of Vivek Ramaswamy, one of the candidates in the race for the US Presidential elections, has gone viral on the Internet.
In the viral video that Ramaswamy shared himself, a man is seen wishing him all the best for the elections and that he wants to see him as the next President.
He then tells Vivek that he’s from Tamil Nadu. To which Ramaswamy replied in Tamil and they have a little conversation where Ramaswamy tells the man that his Tamil was influenced from the dialect spoken in Palakkad, a town on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
He captioned this video on X with this, ‘We’ve been tricked into “celebrating” all the ways we are “diverse.” But we forget all the ways we’re really just the same: bound by a common set of ideals as Americans. E Pluribus Unum.’
Ramaswamy is eyeing to be the Presidential Candidate for the Republican party. During the entirety of his campaign, he has been vocal about his heritage and how much it has influenced him and what he is now. His love and respect for his culture both American and Indian has made him into one of the more prominent contenders.
