New Delhi: Nepal star batsman Deependra Singh has done a feat which hardly any batsman in the world could have thought of. This batsman completed his half-century in just 9 balls in the T-20 International match against Mongolia. He broke the record of India’s Yuvraj Singh’s half century scored in 12 balls. Not only this, in the same match his teammate Kushal Malla has achieved the feat of scoring a century in just 34 balls, while the team scored 314 runs in 20 overs. All three of these are world records.
After winning the toss in the match, Mongolia decided to field first. There was only one toss which went in his favour. After this, Kushal Bhurtal scored 19 runs in 23 balls, while Asif Shaikh scored 16 runs in 17 balls. After this, the storm that came on the field left everyone watching. Kushal Malla scored unbeaten 137 runs in 50 balls with the help of 8 fours and 12 sixes, while at the other end, Rohit Poudel scored 61 runs in 27 balls with the help of 2 fours and 6 sixes.

If told ball by ball, he broke Yuvraj Singh’s world record of half century in 12 balls by scoring 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 2, 6, 6. Yuvi had achieved this feat against England in the World Cup. Since then this figure was considered unbreakable. In the same match, Yuvraj hit Stuart Broad for 6 consecutive sixes in the same over.
Deependra faced 10 balls in his innings, while hitting 8 sixes and scored an unbeaten 52 runs. On the strength of these three batsmen, Nepal scored 314 runs at the loss of 3 wickets, which is a world record in this format.
