The story of ‘Skanda’ is..
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rayudu (Ajay Purkar) prepares everything for his daughter’s wedding. Other state chief ministers including the governor will also attend the wedding. But a few moments before Muhurta, AP CM’s daughter is picked up by Telangana Chief Minister Ranjith Reddy’s (Sarath Lohitaswa) son. With this, the CM of AP and Telangana will hold a grudge against the CM. He wants his daughter back to get his honor.

For that he sends a boy (Ram Pothineni) to Telangana. A few moments before the engagement of Telangana CM’s son with AP CM’s daughter.. Ram comes and takes Telangana CM’s daughter (Srilela) along with AP CM’s daughter. Why did he do it? who is he What is the rivalry between prominent businessman Rudraganti Ramakrishna Raju (Srikanth) and the two CMs? What is the relationship between Ramakrishna Raju and Ram (the hero of these films is not named)? To know that, you have to watch ‘Skanda’ in theatres.

How is it..
Boyapati Srinu is the carafe to the word mass in the Tollywood industry. His 9 movies so far are sure to please the mass audience. Skanda also screened at the same level. But there is no logic in Boyapati’s movies. Hero can beat any level person easily. Even cars have to be broken if kicked with foot. We have seen all this in previous movies.

But in Skanda he took two steps forward. He did not use the word logic. As much as a common man goes to a CM’s house with a tractor. Two Chief Ministers kicked him in the hand. A chief minister is a blabbermouth worse than a street bully. Skanda showed that if the entire police battalion is going down and firing guns, only one bullet can hit our hero. If all this whistles to the mass audience, it will look silly to the common audience.

The story begins with the jail scene of prominent businessman Rudraganti Ramakrishna Raju (Srikanth). After that, he takes us into the original story with interesting scenes related to the Chief Ministers of AP and Telangana. The hero’s entry scene is thrilling. After that the story gets a bit bland. College scenes are not so impressive. The hero’s entry and the elevations given to him create interest in the audience that something is going to happen. The action scene before the interval gives goose bumps. The twist also adds interest to the second half.

And the second half of Boyapati’s movie Skanda, like the previous movies, also starts with a flashback. Why was Rudraganti Ramakrishna Raju imprisoned? What is the hero’s background? The second half continues with other scenes. The action scenes that come 15 minutes before the climax are intense. At the same time extreme violence and unnecessary dialogues will disturb a section of the audience. Emotional scenes are not as ripe as the action scenes. The climax twist is unexpected. Overall, it must be said that Boyapati has given full meals to the mass audience.

Who did it?
Ram is no stranger to mass roles. Earlier, he did similar roles in Jagadam and Smart Shankar movies. But in Skanda, Uramas excelled with his acting. Action scenes. The range of roles of the heroines Srileela and Sai Manjrekar is very limited. However, he acted well. Srilila once again impressed with her dance. Ajay Purkar and Sarath Lohitaswa acted as chief ministers of two Telugu states to the extent of their roles. Srikanth acted well as a businessman. Daggubati Raja, Gautami, Indraja and others acted to the extent of their roles.

As far as technical matters are concerned.. Thaman’s background music has raised the level of the film. The songs were not impressive. Cinematography by Santhosh Datake and editing by Tammiraju is good. The production values โ€‹โ€‹of Srinivasa Silver Screen Banner are very high. If you watch the film, you will understand that the producer Srinivasa Chitturi did not compromise on the cost.
