Bigg Boss Tamil is back with season 7, and so is the show’s star host Kamal Haasan with a promise that this time around things are going to be different as there are two houses instead of one. “The house has changed. So are the rules. Hence, the game will also change,” he says in the latest promo of the most-watched reality show. Like always, Bigg Boss fans are excited and looking forward to the new set of contestants who will entertain them for the next 100+ days. Even before Bigg Boss Tamil 7’s grand premiere at 6 pm today, there are news of contestants expected to enter the show. From Tamil actor Abbas to Raveena Daha to Cool Suresh many known personalities are speculated to be part of the show.
Raveena Daha
Raveena Daha shot to fame with her bold role as a sexual abuse survivor in Vishnu Vishal’s Ratsasan. She later became popular on Instagram with a huge fan following of 1.7 million followers. She has been part of Tamil TV serials like Poove Poochudava, Karaikkal Ammaiyar, Shanthi Nilaya, and Mouna Ragam Season 2.
Nivisha
Another small-screen actress who is also quite popular on Instagram, Nivisha has been part of Vijay TV’s reality shows earlier. She shot to fame through the Vijay TV serial Eeramaana Rojavae. Her exit from her Tamil serial Malar has also reinforced the rumour that she is part of the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Tamil.
Ananya Rao
Ananya Rao is a popular Instagram celebrity known for her reels with her twin sister Apoorva Rao. Ananya has also acted in many commercials. She is a trained Kuchupudi dancer. She got nationwide fame through the reality show IRL-In Real Love, about singles falling in love and handling the ups and downs of modern romance on camera.

Maya Krishnan is a model/actress, who has shot to fame with her small role as a sex worker in Kamal Haasan’s Vikram. She is also part of Gautham Menon’s upcoming and long-delayed film Dhruva Natchathiram. She also played a guest role in the web series Time Enna Boss.

Bava Chelladurai
Bava Chelladurai might be the odd one out on the list. The Tami writer is known for his story-narrating sessions which he conducted in his formative years in Thiruvenamalai. He has been part of Tamil films like Jai Bhim, Joker, Walter, and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Chelladurai is also an activist, who has stood for Dalit issues.
Cool Suresh
Cool Suresh, known for his small roles in films like Kaakha Kaakha, Kadhal Azhivathillai, and Machi, has turned out to be notorious for his comical statements and film promotions. He recently was in the news for forcing a garland on an event’s host at the promo event of actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s film Sarakku. He later issues an unconditional apology for his act.

Actor Babloo aka Prithveeraj has been in the industry since the early 80s. He made his acting debut in 1979 with the film Naan Vazhavaipen.
