Vivek Ramaswamy’s $100,000 Nanny Hunt

Vivek RamaswamyBillionaire Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is seeking a nanny through a job listing on a job seeking website, offering a remarkable annual salary of over $100,000.

The details in the posting strongly indicate Ramaswamy, given matching factors like the zip code, his vegetarian lifestyle, and the children’s ages.

This demanding position entails 84 to 96 weekly work hours on a rotating schedule, collaborating with a team including a chef, housekeeper, and private security to manage the daily routine for the “gifted” children. Responsibilities involve curating play areas and creating a stimulating environment.

The family is described as “high-profile” and frequently travels by private jet, often with Ramaswamy’s wife, Apoorva. While Ramaswamy’s campaign initially denied involvement, they didn’t address the extensive working hours. The job listing was removed from the website after Insider contacted the campaign.

This hiring decision contrasts Ramaswamy’s lavish spending on his family with his proposal for Americans to access Social Security benefits earlier in life to cover childcare costs, an idea not currently allowed. Childcare costs have become a concern for many families, with some spending up to half of their income on it.

In a recent Republican primary debate, Ramaswamy faced criticism for his views on childcare costs and political ideologies, with former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley expressing frustration.
