After Tamil and Malayalam, Lyca Subhaskaran plans big in Telugu and Hindi film industries

Subaskaran Allirajah, the head honcho of the leading Tamil film production house, Lyca Productions, needs no introduction. He bankrolled some of the landmark blockbuster movies such as Shankar-Rajinikanth’s 2.0, Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 1 and 2 and Vijay’s Kaththi to name a few. Shankar-Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 and Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam are the upcoming high-profile releases of Lyca Productions.

Recently, Subaskaran and Lyca Productions forayed into the Malayalam film industry with Mollywood stalwart Mohanlal’s L2E Empuraan. Now, the latest updates reveal that Subhaskaran has set his eyes on the Telugu and Hindi film industries. The star producer, who had already debuted in Telugu and Hindi with Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No. 150 and Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu respectively, will be investing huge monies in Telugu and Hindi films. Meanwhile, Lyca Productions is all set to commence Ajith’s Vidaa Muyarachi in Azerbaijan from tomorrow (Oct 5).
