Assassin’s Creed has become a cornerstone franchise for Ubisoft, and with the upcoming installment, the game is returning to its roots and trying to bank on nostalgia. With recent PC ports released in an undesirable state, many gamers have justified concerns about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage release. However, given Ubisoft’s stellar track record with their PC launches, we can expect an optimized game on release. A few days ago, Ubisoft announced the system requirements for AC Mirage.

Ubisoft has divided it based on four use cases: minimum, recommended, enthusiast, and ultra. While the former two are defined for 1080p gaming, the latter two suggest the minimum CPU+GPU specifications for 1440p and 2160p gaming. Outside of the above requirements, the developers have confirmed that the game will run on Directx 12 with the option of running it with uncapped frame rates. Players will get various graphics customization settings, along with an in-game benchmark to test how their game is performing on certain settings. Finally, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will support multi-monitor setups and widescreen inputs.

Furthermore, to run the game at 4K resolution, you require a GPU that has more than 8GB of VRAM. This means NVIDIA-based cards like RTX 4070 might struggle to run AC Mirage in Ultra settings. However, judging by the system requirements, we can expect Assassin’s Creed Mirage to run at 4K resolution on 8GB VRAM cards with some minor adjustments.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next entry in the long-running action-adventure series by Ubisoft. Originally meant to arrive as an expansion for AC Valhalla, it became a standalone title that follows the master assassin Basim.
