India has made it to the semi-finals of the Asian Games Men’s Cricket. Team India defeated Nepal by 23 runs in the quarter-finals played on Tuesday.

After winning the toss and batting first, the Indian team scored 202 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an excellent century. He played an inning of 100 runs in 49 balls. Rinku Singh scored 37 runs on 15 balls. In reply, Nepal team could score only 179 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.

There may be a clash with Bangladesh in the semi-finals
India will face the winner of the match between Bangladesh and Malaysia in the semi-finals on October 6.

Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Ruturaj Gaikwad gave a great start to the Indian team. Both of them made an opening partnership of 103 runs on 59 balls. This partnership was broken by Deependra Singh Airi by dismissing Gaikwad.
