Technology Desk, New Delhi. Apple CEO Tim Cook has paid tribute to co-founder Steve Jobs. On October 5, 2011, the tech world lost Steve Jobs, the mind behind some of the best Apple products consumers have ever seen.
Steve Jobs died in 2011 after battling liver cancer for several years. He was diagnosed with the disease in 2005 when he was 49 years old. Jobs died of respiratory failure just one day after Apple introduced the iPhone 4S and Siri.

Apple CEO Tim Cook remembered him on Miss you, Steve.” Notably, Steve Jobs is credited with turning around Apple’s fortunes during his second stint as CEO in the late 90s.

Steve Jobs said this when Tim Cook was named CEO
When Steve Jobs resigned from the post of CEO of Apple, he told the company’s board that I have always said that if there ever came a day when I would not be able to fulfill my duties and expectations as CEO of Apple, I would I will do this. Unfortunately, that day has come.” Jobs named Cook as his successor, who assumed the CEO role in 2011.
Jobs further wrote that as far as my successor is concerned, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and nominate Tim Cook as Apple’s CEO. I believe Apple’s brightest days are ahead. And I look forward to seeing and contributing to its success in a new role.
Apple has come a long way
Since Jobs’ demise, Apple has come a long way and launched many products across its lineup. Apple’s new iPhone is 15 series. Whereas many tremendous upgrades have been seen in iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 Pro. This time Apple has taken great care of its users.
This time the noise cancellation feature has been improved more. The company has given its SOS and satellite calling feature in the new iPhone 15 series. This is the first time that Apple has introduced iPhone 15 Series with TYPE C.
