Hurun India has released the list of richest individuals in India and the list features as many as 105 people from the twin Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Mukesh Ambani tops the list as the richest man in India as his net worth is Rs 8.08 lakh crores. He is followed by Gautam Adani who is valued at 4.74 lakh crores, and Cyrus Poonawalla – 2.78 lakh crores.
As for the Telugu states, there are a total of 55 people on the list of richest people in India and 12 of them are billionaires.
Murali Divi, who owns Divi Laboratories has a net worth of Rs 55,700 crores and he is followed by Pamireddy Pitchi Reddy(Megha Industries) who has a net worth of Rs 37,300 crores and PV Krishna Reddy who has a net worth of Rs Rs 35,800 crores.
Hetero Labs’ Parthasarathi Reddy has a net worth of Rs 21,900 crores and then comes MyHome Rameshwara Rao Jupally at Rs 17,500 crores.
The combined value of the Telugu states’ individuals on the list is Rs 5.25 lakh crores. 87 of these 105 rich individuals reside in Hyderabad now.
