In a sudden twist of events, Nara Lokesh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Wednesday night.
Lokesh attended the CID questioning for the second day today in Tadepalli and later rushed to Delhi.
Nobody had a sniff of the appointment until Purandeshwari posted the picture on her Twitter account and this has taken the ruling party by surprise.
There is a sense of insecurity in the YSR Congress that the Central Government may intervene and get Chandrababu Naidu out.
The Chief Minister himself went to Delhi and met Amit Shah last week giving rise to the rumors that he requested the Delhi bosses not to interfere.
YSR Congress leaders were rejoicing that Lokesh could not get the appointment of Amit Shah or Modi until now. This development has come as a surprise for them.
The presence of the BJP President of both the Telugu States – Purandeshwari and Kishan Reddy in the meeting makes it more special.
YSR Congress is already after Purandeshwari suspecting her to be Chandrababu’s aide. They concluded that Purandeshwari facilitated this meeting and are already after her on X (formerly Twitter).
Speaking about the meeting, Purandeshwari wrote, “Lokesh elaborately explained to Amit Shah ji about the vindictiveness of the state government and leaders at the helm of affairs”.
