Rs 270 Cr Spent On Jagan’s Temporary House

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is set to move to Vizag this month, as announced recently. Authorities assembled a house for him in Rushikonda, Vizag as his temporary residence.

However, this temporary house doesn’t come cheap as the state government spent a fortune on the same, according to reports.

As per a report, the government spent over Rs 270 crores on this house in Rushikonda area. However, it has reportedly been named as a ‘transit’ house in the record books.

The high court had ordered the state government not to shift any permanent buildings and offices from Amaravati. The YCP government challenged this at the Supreme Court but to no avail.

So now, the YCP government has come up with a plan to shift the administration to Vizag in the name of temporary relocation. The chief minister’s house has also been moved with the same proposal.

The authorities are now busy, assembling other government offices in Vizag as Jagan plans to move to Vizag post this Dasara season.

Meanwhile, there’s also an unverified report from a Telugu media portal that Jagan might not shift to Vizag after Dasara but instead wait till December as there are many pending changes to be done to move to Vizag anytime soon.
