Bigg Boss 17 premiere live updates: Ankita Lokhande and Vikki Jain enter the house

Khanzaadi arrives on stage and introduces herself as a free bird who chose her own name. Firoza Khan is her other name. She introduces Salman to Assam.

Bigg Boss introduces Soniya Bansal as sundar, susheel and ready to mingle and she agrees.

Salman introduces actor and model Soniya Bansal on Bigg Boss 17 and reveals hers is a last-minute entry.

Salman makes Ankita say that she will let Vikki get eliminated in her place, do her share of household chores, get her share of scolding and more. Salman makes Vikki say that Ankita will not sit on any chair in the house as Vikki will make her sit on his head.

Ankita explained how she will change her clothes three times a day as she has got an opportunity to return to the small screen after a long time. Salman also revealed Ankita is carrying matching lipsticks with her clothes and a silver glass as well.

Ankita reveals Vikki gels with people very soon while Vikki reveals that Ankita stares at him when he is spending time with his friends.

Ankita Lokhande and husband Vikki Jain dance to romantic songs on stage as they arrive to join the show as contestants.

Jigna and Sana had entered the show together and decided to enter the second house – Dimag.

Bigg Boss calls Mannara and Munawar to confession room. He asks Munawar why he is not trusting Mannara. He is yet to decide which section of the Bigg Boss house he wants to go.

Aishwarya decided to live in the Dil house and Neil agreed to go by her decision and live with her in that section.

Jigna talked to her son before entering the Bigg Boss 17 house. He said she can win the show just like she has won in life.

Jigna says she has lived in jail with 40 women and knows how to live with people peacefully. She connected with Salman while talking about getting bail in her case.

Jigna Vora talks about her 9-month-long jail term. She reveals that she has come on the show for the sake of her son who wanted her to participate.

Former crime reporter Jigna Vora also entered the show and met Sana Raees Khan on Bigg Boss 17 stage.

Criminal lawyer Sana Raees Khan has been introduced as the new contestant. She arrived in a simple black pantsuit.

Anurag Dobhal shared his last blog with Salman Khan before he went on to enter the Bigg Boss 17 house.

Biker Anurag Dobhal entered the show and introduced himself as Babu Bhaiya.

All the contestants including Munawar, Neil, Aishwarya and Navid showed their inclination to live in the first house – Dil.

Navid Sole revealed he does TV in the UK and is also a pharmacist. He struggled to talk with other contestants in Hindi.

Aishwarya sang Salman’s song Jag Ghoomeya as Navid Sole had one pani puri after another.

Navid Sole got some Hindi classes from Salman Khan. The former then had a conversation with Aishwarya on Bigg Boss stage and also had pani puris. He said, “its not that spicy,” but expressed his wish to rush to the washroom.

Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma have been married for two years and were joined by Navid Sole on Bigg Boss stage.

Navid Sole introduces himself as half Italian and half Persian. He said he was a proud 29-year-old ….

Bigg Boss said Aishwarya Sharma had all that was needed to participate on the show while Neil had no such qualities. Salman told Neil that people like him don’t reach finale.

After Mannara left for her room, Munawar called her Priyanka Chopra’s “door ki rishtedar” and added that he felt that she somewhat felt embarrassed about it.

Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma danced to What Jhumka while twinning in white as they arrived on the show.

Mannara explains Munawar that she is indeed Priyanka’s cousin (her late dad was her mama). The two go on to check out the house.

Munawar Faruqui is the second contestant to enter the Bigg Boss house. He joked he was offered to host the show last season but he later said ki tere jaise 36 aaege, contestant banne ko bulaya hai.

Mannara was allowed to choose among the three houses on Bigg Boss and she went on to enter the ‘Dil’ house. She has been given the responsibility of making other contestants understand the code and conduct of the Bigg Boss house.

Salman treated Mannara to golgappas before she entered the house.

Mannara and Salman danced to Priyanka and Salman’s song Lal Dupatta on Bigg Boss stage.

Mannara Chopra said she wants nail service, salon and a weekly outing with her friends during her time in Bigg Boss 17 house.

Mannara Chopra, Priyanka Chopra’s cousin, arrived in a red saree and danced to Saami Saami before entering the house.

Salman danced to his several hit songs as he arrived in black casuals with a bright red jacket but changed to a black once after his dance performance.

Bigg Boss 17 will have three houses, one representing dil (love), second representing dimag (brain) and third being all about dum (strength).

Bigg Boss 17 opened with a voiceover talking about all the accusations the makers had to face. But Bigg Boss added that it will continue to be bias and even practice favouritism because its his area.

Aly Goni is supporting more than one contestant on Bigg Boss 17.

Day before the Bigg Boss 17 premiere, actor Abhishek Kumar joined X and asked his fans to follow him. He also shared a new Instagram reel and talked about his courage to deal with problems.

Aly Goni not just confirmed Munawar Faruqui’s participation on Bigg Boss 17 but also showed his support for him on X.

Rinku Dhawan, known for her shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and many others, has just shared a post saying “some exciting news coming soon” on Instagram with Colors among the hashtags. She is on the tentative list of Bigg Boss 17 participants.

Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma are expected to be the second couple on Bigg Boss 17. Ankita Lokhande and husband Vicky Jain are also on the list.

In other news, Bigg Boss 16 contestant and dancer Gori Nagori from Nagaur joined the Aam Aadmi Party today. “We want Nagaur to get recognition which it is lacking, so I have joined the Aam Aadmi Party. I feel that AAP has the potential to bring a change which is much needed. The party has worked very well in various sectors including health, education and electricity in Delhi and Punjab. It should also get a chance in Rajasthan,” she told ANI.

Rapper MC Stan won the last season. Calling his win a “historic moment”, he had written on Instagram with this picture, “What a journey it has been. Grateful and honoured for all the luv India has showered – Haq hai sabko (you all have the right) I feel you. @beingsalmankhan bhai thanks for always guiding and showing the right path. End tak.”
