In a shocking revelation, it was established that Indian IT giant, Tata Consultancy Services had unearthed a scam where those working with the company and associated with it took bribes to offer jobs at the company.
TCS commissioned an internal investigation following the establishment of the scam and they have now announced their action against the same.
TCS has identified that 19 people are involved in the scam. The company has now fired 16 of them and transferred 3 others from Resource Management streams to other departments.
TCS has also severed ties and debarred 6 individuals and companies from their business operations. The firm will never associate with them in the future.
The IT giant has announced that they haven’t lost any money or resources due to the scam and said affirmative measures will be taken to prevent the occurrence of such activities in the future.
