The One UI 6.0 update for Galaxy smartphones and tablets has a pretty big changelog, and it includes a number of improvements and new features for various Samsung apps. However, it seems that the improvements and features for some of those apps weren’t included in the One UI 6.0 beta firmware that is available for various phones.
But Samsung seems to be working on fixing that now that we’re getting closer to the launch of the stable Android 14/One UI 6 update. For instance, everything new that Galaxy users will get in the Reminder app with One UI 6 is now being added to it through an update on the Galaxy Store.

A lot is changing in Samsung Reminder, starting with the main screen that greets you when you open the app. The main screen now shows all the categories at the top, right above the list of all reminders. On One UI 5.x and earlier, viewing categories required accessing the hamburger menu by swiping in from the left edge of the display (which is still an option).
The app is also getting support for using the camera when creating a reminder to add pictures to it – earlier, you could only add pictures that have already been saved in the gallery. Creating reminders also gets a couple of other features, like the option to create reminders for past dates and being able to repeat all day reminders and reminders created for a specific time.
The full changelog for the Reminder app update can be seen below, and you can download it from the Galaxy Store if you are running the Android 14/One UI 6.0 beta on your Galaxy smartphone. If you’re on One UI 5, you will be able to download the app update once the stable One UI 6.0 firmware is released.
