Producer Abhishek Aggarwal shared the details of Tiger Nageswara Rao in a press conference in the background of the film’s grand worldwide release on October 20.
The reason why Tiger Nageswara Rao’s biopic should be screened across the country?
Biopics are generally made on leaders, sportsmen and celebrities. But when you see the movie, you will understand why a biopic of a thief was made. Why did a man become a thief? What did he do after being a thief? There are reasons for all this. All these are in this biopic. Abhishek Agarwal Arts aims to tell content based, untold stories. Tiger Nageswara Rao is also a movie with powerful content.
Did Nageswara Rao family members take permission to make this biopic?
While making this story, director Nageswara Rao contacted the family members, got to know the details and took their permission.
Are there three big movies coming out at the same time? How do you see this competition?
We have planned the release as before. It is natural that two or three big films will come out for the festival. We are very confident in our product and content. We also have faith in our audience. The movie will definitely be well received. There is an excellent response in the North as well.
Isn’t this a very big budget film under your banner? Did you think it was a risk when you started?
Whatever the story needs, I will give it hundred percent. Only then will the outcome be so amazing. I never compromise in film making.
You have already done Pan India films. This is director Vamsi’s first pan India film. What instructions were given?
We take decisions that meet all. We have more of a brotherly relationship than a director-producer relationship. We went ahead with that relationship. I have said it many times before. He is not only the director but also the producer of this movie.
Ravi Teja took a lot of hard work and risk for this movie, didn’t he?
Ravi Teja has given excellent support. He did a lot of hard work, he did all the action sequences. Even though his hand was injured, he supported the production a lot and did the shooting without any problem. Tiger Nageswara Rao will remain my all time favorite movie. This journey is very different and memorable. We made this movie with collective effort to bring a good product.
Are you sentimental about Anupam Kher?
Anupam Kher is our lucky charm. I am treated like a child. Tells lies. If asked to do any role, he would do it without another word. I feel it is a great honor to have so much faith in me.
How is the role of Renu Desai?
Renu Desai’s character is unforgettable. Audience will see Renu Desai 2.o.
Didn’t they advertise very loudly in Hindi as well?
Tiger Nageswara Rao is our dream project. From the beginning, we have paid special attention to the promotion of this film. First look in Telugu was launched in a grand manner in Rajahmundry. Later we launched the trailer in North. We have done everything for our dream project and there is an excellent response from the North as well.

There were tears of joy. Receiving a national award as a producer in the last three years has brought great honor to our company. What more should the producer, the audience, ask from God.
