Director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s fans hyped about LEO being part of the LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe), but a couple of days ago, the director himself said, “LEO is not part of LCU, and I cannot forcefully include it in the movie just for the fans. We have only two films in LCU as of now (Kaithi and Vikram).”
Now, Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu CM M. K. Stalin, who distributed Vikram, posted a tweet that is causing significant confusion.
Udhay tweeted, “Thalabathy @actorvijay Anna’s #Leo @Dir_Lokesh excellent filmmaking , @anirudhofficial music, @anbariv master @7screenstudio #LCU ! All the best team!”
The fact that he used #LCU with a wink has fans speculating that LEO is part of LCU, and the end of the film will have a high-octane block with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Rolex (Suriya).
LEO’s US premieres will begin early noon in the US, and the suspense will be broken once the first shows are over. As for advance booking, Leo is creating havoc at the box office.
